Day 1 –Luxor ( Monday )
Early the morning, arrival to Luxor, reception by our
representative and discovered Valley of the Kings, where the
majority of the Pharaons of XVIII to the XX dynasty were
made bury and the Valley of the Queens, is the necropolis of
the royal wives, of the girls, sometimes of wire of the
kings of XIX and XX dynasties. Then continuation towards the
two imposing Colossi of Memnon, last vestiges of the
gigantic funerary temple of Amenhotep III which does not
exist nowadays any more. And finally the visit of the Temple
of Hatshepsout, the funerary temple of Hatchepsout,
dedicated to the Amon god, but also to the gods Anubis and
Hathor. This temple thébain is single and is distinguished
from the other temples because it is partly dug in the rock
of the mountain thébaine to which it leans, and rises on
three terraces connected by approach ramps transfer in the
private car to your boat of cruising. Installation in your
cabins. lunch. Visit Temple of Karnak, dedicated to the main
thing of the worship to the glory of the Amon god, but like
many other Egyptian temples, other gods and goddesses were
venerated there. It is the known religious site oldest in
the world. And the Temple of Luxor, It was devoted to the
dynastic god Amon under his two aspects of celestial Amon-Rê
and ithyphallic divinity. The currently visible oldest parts
go up in Amenhotep III and Ramsès II. Dinner and night on
board.
Day 2 - Luxor/ Esna/Edfu
(navigation Tuesday, Friday or Sunday)
Breakfast on board . In morning, beginning of navigation in
direction of Edfu .lunch. After the Passage of the Lock of
Esna, navigation and arrival to Edfu in the evening. Dinner
and night on board.
Day 3 - Edfu/Kom Ombo
Breakfast on board . Departure in the barouche for the visit
of the Temple of Edfu, the Holy City of Horus and the temple
built in its honor. This temple with extravagant dimensions
is preserved best of all Egypt. lunch. Navigation towards
Kom Ombo. Visit Temple of Kom Ombo, whose characteristic is
to be dedicated to two divinities: Sobek (with head of
crocodile) and Horus (with head of falcon). Navigation to
Aswan. Dinner and night on board.
Day 4 – Aswan
Breakfast on board. Visit Temple of Philae, dedicated to the
worship of the Isis goddess, then the granite career with
the Unfinished Obelisk and finally the High Nasser Stopping
giving rise to the Lake Nasser. lunch. Walk into feloucca
around the Eléphantine island is the best means of feeling
the Nile and of releasing themselves with the sandstone of
the wind. To dinner on board followed on one oriental show
(evening costume with Eastern spectacle: dancer and
traditional music). Dinner and night on board.
Day 5 – Aswan/Abo Simbel (check-in
Friday)
Breakfast on board. Check out and then transfer in the
private car to your boat which await you in Abo Simbel.
lunch. Visit temples of Abo Simbel, the temple dedicated to
Ramsès II and of its splendid Néfertari wife.sound and Light
in Abo Simbel (option). Dinner and night on board.
Day 6 - Kasr Ibrim/Amada/Wadi El
Sebou
Breakfast on board . Navigation towards Kasr Ibrim. Sight on
the temple of Kasr Ibrim (of the exterior). lunch.
Navigation towards Amada. Visit temple of Amada of the time
of Thoutmosis III. Navigation towards Wadi El Sebou.
Spectacle of light has Wadi El Sebou. Dinner and night on
board.
Day 7 - Wadi El Sebou/Dakka
Breakfast on board . visits temple of Wadi El Sebou devoted
has Amon-Ra and that of dedicated Dakka has Thot. Navigation
towards Aswan. lunch. Free day devotes to navigation and
relieving on board. Dinner is followed by a Nubian show
.night on board.
Day 8 - Kalabsha/Beit El Wali/Aswan
Breakfast on board . Visit temple of Kalabsha, the first
Nubian temple has to be moved and of that of Ramsès II has
Beit El Wali, transported thanks to UNESCO to save it water
of the New Stopping. Then transfer in the private car to the
airport for your departure.
